A History of Breil and Breil Watches
Originally
based on the shores of Lake Maggiore, on the Swiss/Italian border Innocente Binda, a master watchmaker since
1906, had an ambition to combine Swiss technical excellence with the still
unrivalled Italian aesthetic. A move
closer to the fashion capital in Milan and the brand Breil Watches was
launched in 1937.
Breil was
in a perfect position to capitalise on the changed face of the watch industry –
the Swiss timepiece although renowned for its accuracy lacked the polish for
the fashion industry while fashion houses often produced watches of inferior
quality.
The style
of Breil Watches is undeniably modern and Italian – chunky yet sleek with a
whole range of features on many models including chronograph, dual time and
water resistance to a variety of depths.
Breil watches have set a new standard of excellence with their Swiss
timepiece, yet Breil watches still deliver the high standard of innovation
expected by the fashion industry. Breil watch
collection embody Breil’s many features: coldness and determination, warmth and
sensuality. Breil Watches join matter,
form and essence to convey the innovative skills, refinement and quality of a
leading, unconventional brand that is always one step ahead of times. |
